To paraphrase a certain “Most Interesting Man in the World”, we don’t always drink wine, but when we do, we prefer Lucky Rock. But sometimes, when we drink cocktails, we still prefer Lucky Rock. And who can blame us, especially when we got some boss bartender friends like Jess Andrew of Jackson’s Bar & Oven in Santa Rosa, who can whip up an incredible beverage using our California Pinot Noir (three county blend) and some fresh, local ingredients. But, while not everyone can come out to Jackson’s Bar & Oven, in Sonoma County, to enjoy this delicious creation featuring Lucky Rock wine, you too can try a delicious twist on an Argentinian Sangria, right there in your casa, and all you need are these ingredients:
1 oz lemon juice (fresh-squeezed if you can)
1 oz peach puree (stuff like this works just fine, but make this if you’re tryin’ to get fancy)
.75 oz Simple Syrup
1.5 oz Lucky Rock Pinot Noir
1.5 oz Brandy- Korbel is a good move, but you can play with other flavors.
5 drops Monarch Citrus Basil Bitters
Brut Rosé Wine- we suggest La Crema
Some Basil leaves for garnish
So let’s get going!...
So there you go, a delicious wine cocktail that pairs perfectly with chillin’ in the backyard, long Zoom sessions friends, or just laying in bed doing absolutely nothing. You’re damn cool and you deserve it. And we’re not just sayin that…
Cheers!!
